Day 34 of 150
Ps 34
1I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2My soul will make its boast in the LORD;
The humble will hear it and rejoice.
3O magnify the LORD with me,
And let us exalt His name together.
4I sought the LORD, and He answered me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
5They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces will never be ashamed.
6This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him
And saved him out of all his troubles.
7The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him,
And rescues them.
8O taste and see that the LORD is good;
How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
9O fear the LORD, you His saints;
For to those who fear Him there is no want.
10The young lions do lack and suffer hunger;
But they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing.
11Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12Who is the man who desires life
And loves length of days that he may see good?
13Keep your tongue from evil
And your lips from speaking deceit.
14Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.
15The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous
And His ears are open to their cry.
16The face of the LORD is against evildoers,
To cut off the memory of them from the earth.
17The righteous cry, and the LORD hears
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
18The LORD is near to the brokenhearted
And saves those who are crushed in spirit.
19Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
20He keeps all his bones,
Not one of them is broken.
21Evil shall slay the wicked,
And those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
22The LORD redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.
v1 I want to follow this: to be in constant prayer and praise of Him that is my ultimate goal.
v2 The one and only thing we are aloud to boast in...& we who are humble do rejoice in this fact because
v3 one of my verses from last year :~) And yes please join me...the more the marrier!!!
v4 another one of my verses LoL but I did not memorize them together...God had me seprate them
v5-6 I could use a healthy dose of such...Lord, help me please!
v7 Here lately I've wondered if my angel of protection has been wrestling with principalities (like in Dan 10...where's the angel been?) I know I have...Lord, be our strength send Your wisdom and power.
v8-14 The path of righteousness...sound advice that is easy to understand and applicable.
v15-18 A true comfort to any going through the hard times of life.
v19 I'm so thankful that God tells us plainly that even the righteous endure afflictions. Some imply that all suffering is due to sin, but here, the entire book of Job along with other verses I'm sure testify and declare that's just not always the case...though it can be.
v20 Points to Jesus without a doubt
v21 hmmm...Evil turns on itself? Well ain't that just so like God...those who are righteous won;t have to become tainted... God did say vengeance is His and He does justly, "an eye for an eye" and all. Its just so awesome to know He works it to where the unjust are returned the favor by the unjust.
v22 Oh thank You Father, for Your grace and mercy...what a wonderful thing that as soon as the unjust (like myself) are redeemed (like I have been) they face no condemnation thanks to Jesus.
Lord, You know my trails and struggles I seek Your face Illuminate my path. Be with Daffy and her household as they face their trails as well. Help us walk in Your teuth and prevent us from being stumbling blocks for each other. In Jesus name I so pray -amen.

Day 33 of 150
Ps 33
1Sing for joy in the LORD, O you righteous ones;
Praise is becoming to the upright.
2Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre;
Sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings.
3Sing to Him a new song;
Play skillfully with a shout of joy.
4For the word of the LORD is upright,
And all His work is done in faithfulness.
5He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD.
6By the word of the LORD the heavens were made,
And by the breath of His mouth all their host.
7He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap;
He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
8Let all the earth fear the LORD;
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
9For He spoke, and it was done;
He commanded, and it stood fast.
10The LORD nullifies the counsel of the nations;
He frustrates the plans of the peoples.
11The counsel of the LORD stands forever,
The plans of His heart from generation to generation.
12Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,
The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.
13The LORD looks from heaven;
He sees all the sons of men;
14From His dwelling place He looks out
On all the inhabitants of the earth,
15He who fashions the hearts of them all,
He who understands all their works.
16The king is not saved by a mighty army;
A warrior is not delivered by great strength.
17A horse is a false hope for victory;
Nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength.
18Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope for His lovingkindness,
19To deliver their soul from death
And to keep them alive in famine.
20Our soul waits for the LORD;
He is our help and our shield.
21For our heart rejoices in Him,
Because we trust in His holy name.
22Let Your lovingkindness, O LORD, be upon us,
According as we have hoped in You.
In this Psalm the writer, I believe, was probably reading and studying the scriptures or was just pondering but its like they were looking from within on the impact of God's word: v1-5 is on how praise and worship is so important to us, then to the external v6-12. First to the natural world v6-9, then the social or political/governmental realm v10-12. Next they considered God's point of view in comparison to our own v13-17. Finally, the psalmist in v18-22 puts his thoughts and feelings into an applicable maxim that will guide him and any who read this passage.
Lord thank You for this elevated perpective on Your word. I will try to follow this pattern in my own studies of Your word in my own life. In Jesus name I pray-amen.

Day 32 of 150
Ps 32
1How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered!
2How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity,
And in whose spirit there is no deceit!
3When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away
Through my groaning all day long.
4For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me;
My vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer. Selah.
5I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I did not hide;
I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD";
And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah.
6Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found;
Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.
7You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble;
You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go;
I will counsel you with My eye upon you.
9Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding,
Whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check,
Otherwise they will not come near to you.
10Many are the sorrows of the wicked,
But he who trusts in the LORD, lovingkindness shall surround him.
11Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous ones;
And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.
v1-2 Thank You, Father, for forgiveness for cleaning my spirit of deceit!
v3-5 This is exactly how it happened or at least for me it did...
v6 A time You maybe found... God doesn't want us to only seek Him when we are in direr need... but also there will be times that God will "feel" like He's not there... I see these times like a father teaching a child to swim...He holds us afloat while we learn how to move our arms(pray, listen, and mediate upon God's will) and legs (read, understand, and follow the Word) the 'right way' aka His way. But then He lets go...He doesn't leave our side but He does let go. So that we can truly learn to swim or live life the way He has always intended.
v7 Will He save IF we find ourselves drowning? You better believe it!!! But we have to ask and may have to wait and suffer some but it will not destroy us if we turn to Him.
v8-9 [God speaking] "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, Whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, Otherwise they will not come near to you."
v10-11 Many of my sorrows are a result of my own wicked days of rebellion. But I am actively trusting God. His lovingkindness is flowing in, "Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart. "
Father, thank You again for Your saving grace. Thank You also for teaching me. Lord, help me to do Your will...I truly cannot live apart from You in Jesus name -amen.
Day 31 of 150
Ps 31
1In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge;
Let me never be ashamed;
In Your righteousness deliver me.
2Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly;
Be to me a rock of strength,
A stronghold to save me.
3For You are my rock and my fortress;
For Your name's sake You will lead me and guide me.
4You will pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me,
For You are my strength.
5Into Your hand I commit my spirit;
You have ransomed me, O LORD, God of truth.
6I hate those who regard vain idols,
But I trust in the LORD.
7I will rejoice and be glad in Your lovingkindness,
Because You have seen my affliction;
You have known the troubles of my soul,
8And You have not given me over into the hand of the enemy;
You have set my feet in a large place.
9Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am in distress;
My eye is wasted away from grief, my soul and my body also.
10For my life is spent with sorrow
And my years with sighing;
My strength has failed because of my iniquity,
And my body has wasted away.
11Because of all my adversaries, I have become a reproach,
Especially to my neighbors,
And an object of dread to my acquaintances;
Those who see me in the street flee from me.
12I am forgotten as a dead man, out of mind;
I am like a broken vessel.
13For I have heard the slander of many,
Terror is on every side;
While they took counsel together against me,
They schemed to take away my life.
14But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD,
I say, "You are my God."
15My times are in Your hand;
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me.
16Make Your face to shine upon Your servant;
Save me in Your lovingkindness.
17Let me not be put to shame, O LORD, for I call upon You;
Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol.
18Let the lying lips be mute,
Which speak arrogantly against the righteous
With pride and contempt.
19How great is Your goodness,
Which You have stored up for those who fear You,
Which You have wrought for those who take refuge in You,
Before the sons of men!
20You hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man;
You keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues.
21Blessed be the LORD,
For He has made marvelous His lovingkindness to me in a besieged city.
22As for me, I said in my alarm,
"I am cut off from before Your eyes";
Nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications
When I cried to You.
23O love the LORD, all you His godly ones!
The LORD preserves the faithful
And fully recompenses the proud doer.
24Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who hope in the LORD.
There is an underlying spirit following me with regards to a certain young man (this is not a romantic inclination) So this Psalms is absolutly perfect...
v1-5 Lord, my enemies and I are in Your hand deal with us justly, Lord Jesus.
v6 Reminds me of SoS But I certainly do TRUST the Lord!!!
v7-8 I reject those who reject You...I follow You and You take care of me, You keep me safe from my enemies in a better place they can not find.
v9-13 I'm not in perfect health. You know Lord, all my aliments, all my afflictions, and my distresses. You have allowed them because I was sinful...I was aweful and now no one wants to aid me they see my distress as too great though they know not my iniquity. Some dred me even...I have felt like a crazy person sometimes...overwhelmed by it all...like a broken vessel.
But my hope and faith are in You for You are my God and in control over my life...not those against me. You can heal my every ache and satisfy my every need and bless me far beyound my greatest expecations and You will Judge the unjust justly.
v19-22 You hold me close, Father, sheltering me from the likes of sinful man and lying tongues You hear me when I cry. Thank You Jesus for saving my soul thank You Lord for making me whole thank You Lord for giving to me thy great salvation so rich and FREE...In the name of Jesus I pray-amen.
Day 30 of 150
Ps 30
1I will extol You, O LORD, for You have lifted me up,
And have not let my enemies rejoice over me.
2O LORD my God,
I cried to You for help, and You healed me.
3O LORD, You have brought up my soul from Sheol;
You have kept me alive, that I would not go down to the pit.
4Sing praise to the LORD, you His godly ones,
And give thanks to His holy name.
5For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for a lifetime;
Weeping may last for the night,
But a shout of joy comes in the morning.
6Now as for me, I said in my prosperity,
"I will never be moved."
7O LORD, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong;
You hid Your face, I was dismayed.
8To You, O LORD, I called,
And to the Lord I made supplication:
9"What profit is there in my blood, if I go down to the pit?
Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness?
10"Hear, O LORD, and be gracious to me;
O LORD, be my helper."
11You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness,
12That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
V1-5 I see where You have kept my enemies at bay. I feel Your healing hand upon my heart. i extol or
...You and thank You and I encourage any of Your godly ones to join me in song of praises.
Your anger is short lived due to Your merciful love but Your grace-filled blessings last for all eternity Though I may weep tonight in the mourning ... I can't wait till morning so I will have Your joy.
V4 My heart commands my own children "Sing praise to the LORD, you His godly ones, And give thanks to His holy name."
V6-8 I have said, when feeling like God's best-friend, that nothing can move me. But You have let me go to test me and I felt lost...I call to You Lord, "Never let me go..." (but He will to grow us...read Day 32 post of the same color)
V9 Jesus Himself said on His final ride to Jerusalem (1st Palm Sunday) that if those who were praising Him stopped the very rocks would cry out (Luke 19:39-40) But I ask, "Lord, how would You reward the rocks with Your favor and would rocks love You back?" *in innocence with much wonderment*
V10-12 Be gracious to me my Helper I miss dancing (an avid dancer in my youth nothing formal mind you) cloth me with gladness (even if that were all I had on...) Lord I will be silent no more (I passed on an opportunity, Lord forgive me, to sing solo publicly...fear and self doubt) I thank You for all eternity.

Day 29 of 150
Ps 29
1Ascribe to the LORD, O sons of the mighty,
Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to His name;
Worship the LORD in holy array.
3The voice of the LORD is upon the waters;
The God of glory thunders,
The LORD is over many waters.
4The voice of the LORD is powerful,
The voice of the LORD is majestic.
5The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;
Yes, the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6He makes Lebanon skip like a calf,
And Sirion like a young wild ox.
7The voice of the LORD hews out flames of fire.
8The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness;
The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
9The voice of the LORD makes the deer to calve
And strips the forests bare;
And in His temple everything says, "Glory!"
10The LORD sat as King at the flood;
Yes, the LORD sits as King forever.
11The LORD will give strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace.
V1-2 Ascribe to (or accredit) the Lord, oh sons of the mighty of which is from Him, the glory are strength due to His name by worshipping Him in holy array.
V3-9 The voice of the Lord:
- is upon the waters (that is H2O in all forms hence the thunder reference and acknowledgement that it is 'over many waters'
- is powerful
- is majestic
- breaks the cedars, even the strong ones from Lebanon (these were what David considered to be the strongest wood or solid wood of his time which is why he bought so much of it to build the Temple of God)
- hews out or cuts with flames of fire
- shakes the wilderness (as in Earthquakes) of Kadesh (about 24 kilometers (15 mi) southwest of Homs (ca.
34°35′N 36°31′E / 34.583°N 36.517°E / 34.583; 36.517) near Al Qusayr in what is now western Syria according to Wikipedia.com)
- makes the deer to calve or give birth
- and strips the forest bare
v10 speaking of King...He sat as such during the flood (that's with Noah and the arch) and He sits as such forever!!!
v11 His people...will be given His strength and blessing of peace
Thank You Lord Jesus in Your name-amen.

Day 28 of 150
Ps 28
1To You, O LORD, I call;
My rock, do not be deaf to me,
For if You are silent to me,
I will become like those who go down to the pit.
2Hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to You for help,
When I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.
3Do not drag me away with the wicked
And with those who work iniquity,
Who speak peace with their neighbors,
While evil is in their hearts.
4Requite them according to their work and according to the evil of their practices;
Requite them according to the deeds of their hands;
Repay them their recompense.
5Because they do not regard the works of the LORD
Nor the deeds of His hands,
He will tear them down and not build them up.
6Blessed be the LORD,
Because He has heard the voice of my supplication.
7The LORD is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart exults,
And with my song I shall thank Him.
8The LORD is their strength,
And He is a saving defense to His anointed.
9Save Your people and bless Your inheritance;
Be their shepherd also, and carry them forever
v1 Lord, I call to You please don't turn a deaf ear, my solid Rock on which I stand because You have placed me here. Speak so I can hear or I will sink back into the pit You found me in...
v2 Lord I cry to You for help and I lift my hand up to You reaching out for Your healing hand to lift me up
v3 Do not let me get mixed up with the wicked, those who work iniquity, nor those who speak sweetly to their neighbour while their hearts are actually wicked-the double minded who look from the outside like one of Yours but when You see them You know them not because they don't truly belong to You.
4v according to their work and practices, the deeds of their hands of that of evil repay their dealings...
Requite- to give or do in return; to avenge.
v5 Because and only ecause they do not regard You, Lord God, not Your work nor Your deeds. So Your wiil, Lord, if You tear them down only You could rebuild them and there again Your just, true, all-mighty, righteous will be done for Your name sake.
This next stanza, if you will, is my prayer and proclamation even now before I have received for I know He is faithful in all things especially His own Word!
v6-7 Prayer- 'Blessed be the LORD, Because He has heard the voice of my supplication. The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.'
v8 Proclamation- To all of His anointed, the Lord is their strength and a saving defence.
v9 Prayer- 'Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; Be their shepherd also, and carry them forever.'
In Jesus name I so pray and proclaim with His all-mighty authority-amen
(P.S. Lord please don't forget my children in particular Lela)

Day 27 of 150
Ps 27
1The LORD is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the defense of my life;
Whom shall I dread?
2When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh,
My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.
3Though a host encamp against me,
My heart will not fear;
Though war arise against me,
In spite of this I shall be confident.
4One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD
And to meditate in His temple.
5For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle;
In the secret place of His tent He will hide me;
He will lift me up on a rock.
6And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me,
And I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.
7Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice,
And be gracious to me and answer me.
8When You said, "Seek My face," my heart said to You,
"Your face, O LORD, I shall seek."
9Do not hide Your face from me,
Do not turn Your servant away in anger;
You have been my help;
Do not abandon me nor forsake me,
O God of my salvation!
10For my father and my mother have forsaken me,
But the LORD will take me up.
11Teach me Your way, O LORD,
And lead me in a level path
Because of my foes.
12Do not deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries,
For false witnesses have risen against me,
And such as breathe out violence.
13I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD
In the land of the living.
14Wait for the LORD;
Be strong and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for the LORD.
I've been struck with the strangest since of deja vu...I could almost swear (as I'm desperately reading back over them) that one of the previous psalms had these exact words in it like in v1 and 2 ...the cross reference is ps 18, 14, 9...no, nope, and that's not it either...v3 also...where...then I read verse 4 and it dawned on me....this is the psalm God wants me to meditate on and commit to memory this year. That's why it sounds so familiar...its because they have already taken root in my heart. (v1-2 were for Jan. and v3 Feb. I'm only doing one or two per month instead of twice a month for this year.)
v1 You are the Lord of my life and my salvation in Whom I shall fear and because of You I shall have nothing to dread.
v2 Those against me You take care of
v3Inspite of raging wars against me, my heart shall not fear and I shall be confident in You (not pridful, as Beth pointed out on Life Today Wednesday-God confidence is not the same as sinful pride).
v4 speaking of Beth...this is her favorite verse which many Seistas joined together to memorize as their last verse of the year last year and is the verse and instance God used that lead me to memorizing the whole chapter this year (God had already pre-set my verses for Dec so I couldn't follow the crowd).
...there is one thing that I ask that i will diligently seek all the days of my life for....a place in God's house to behold His beauty and meditate in His temple...to learn not only about Him but from Him...How awesome and wonder-full?
v5 we have a sactuary and safe-haven in Him
v6 I will lift my head and give out of joy and sing praises to Him Who sits on the thrown!
v7 Hear me Lord please be gracious and answer please...
v8 When You said, "Seek My face," my heart said to You,
"Your face, O LORD, I shall seek."
v9 Don't be angry with me, Father, be my help; please don't leave me destitude O God of my salvation!
v10 Lord You know my upbringing and how at 12 I accepted You as my Father in the absence of my earthly parents...
v11 again I come before You as Your child...teach me rear me, take me by the hand...
v12 You know the monsters in my closet and under my bed...Lord...Father
v13 I would have and You know it, but I still cling to Your promises that i am to prosper this side of heaven as well as for all eternity as my inheritance as a child of Yours.
v14 "Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD." I've waited this long...I believe You, Father. I will wait, but while I'm waiting, how can I grow stronger in You or is that the point of my wait?
Thank you, Father, for planting these thruths...Your truths in my heart...grow them in Jesus name for Your glory and honor-amen.
Restless
Thank You Lord Jesus for Your provisions of mercy and grace. Thank You for not allowing the devil to take this one. You won this victory Lord glory and honor to the King Who saves everlastingly Washed in Your blood and on Your authority I so pray-Amen
Father please be with Lee and all whom he cares about...lead and guide them in Your ways and protect them from all unrighteousness if it be Your will...Lord please forgive all my sins and grant me also guidance and protection for Your honor and glory In Jesus name I pray amen.
Ok this is ...Lord...oook. I was trying to copy the video below to paste here right and when I pressed ctl/v the prayer i sent Lee pasted...I didn't copy it yall...like at no time did i even try to copy it, but yet here it is....Lord Your will Lord Your will please Lord be with us all.

Day 26 of 150
Ps 26
1Vindicate me, O LORD, for I have walked in my integrity,
And I have trusted in the LORD without wavering.
2Examine me, O LORD, and try me;
Test my mind and my heart.
3For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes,
And I have walked in Your truth.
4I do not sit with deceitful men,
Nor will I go with pretenders.
5I hate the assembly of evildoers,
And I will not sit with the wicked.
6I shall wash my hands in innocence,
And I will go about Your altar, O LORD,
7That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving
And declare all Your wonders.
8O LORD, I love the habitation of Your house
And the place where Your glory dwells.
9Do not take my soul away along with sinners,
Nor my life with men of bloodshed,
10In whose hands is a wicked scheme,
And whose right hand is full of bribes.
11But as for me, I shall walk in my integrity;
Redeem me, and be gracious to me.
12My foot stands on a level place;
In the congregations I shall bless the LORD.
v1 There are many issues in my life I'm praying for vindication that I must trust God to take care of so that I can be found with integrity.
v2 Reminds me of my Jan 15th M&M from last year...Ps 139:23-24
v3 Your loveingkindness is the prize I've set my eyes on, and I know I have to walk in Your truth.
v4-5 Reminds me of the crowd I once ran with, deceitful, pretenders, evildoers, wicked, and that was just a couple of years ago.
v6-7 but thankfully I can declair all Your wonders at Your altar with innocent hands because of the redeeming, sanctifying blood of Christ.
v8 O Lord, i do love going to church and being where Your glory dwells. Its a safe-haven for me.
v9-10 I am a sinner and bloodshed, if You were to look at my heart in the past, would be upon me, wickedly scheming, bribery none of this was beyond me.
v11-12 But now my foot stands on solid level ground...You redeemed me and are so very gracious, so I can walk in integrity in the congregation, so I can bless You for Your name sake. Thank You my Hero, my God, Jesus, it in Your name I pray-amen.

Day 25 of 150 (1/6 of the way there)
Ps 25
1To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
2O my God, in You I trust,
Do not let me be ashamed;
Do not let my enemies exult over me.
3Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed;
Those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed.
4Make me know Your ways, O LORD;
Teach me Your paths.
5Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day.
6Remember, O LORD, Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they have been from of old.
7Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
According to Your lovingkindness remember me,
For Your goodness' sake, O LORD.
8Good and upright is the LORD;
Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.
9He leads the humble in justice,
And He teaches the humble His way.
10All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth
To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
11For Your name's sake, O LORD,
Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
12Who is the man who fears the LORD?
He will instruct him in the way he should choose.
13His soul will abide in prosperity,
And his descendants will inherit the land.
14The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him,
And He will make them know His covenant.
15My eyes are continually toward the LORD,
For He will pluck my feet out of the net.
16Turn to me and be gracious to me,
For I am lonely and afflicted.
17The troubles of my heart are enlarged;
Bring me out of my distresses.
18Look upon my affliction and my trouble,
And forgive all my sins.
19Look upon my enemies, for they are many,
And they hate me with violent hatred.
20Guard my soul and deliver me;
Do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You.
21Let integrity and uprightness preserve me,
For I wait for You.
22Redeem Israel, O God,
Out of all his troubles.
Oh how relevant the words of the Lord from the days of old are even today especially for me right now.
Before opening my eyes this morning, I asked God to please speak to me through His word. Instead He spoke for me with these verses. Jesus knows better than we do just what to say and how to say it.
But don't worry if you don't know the Spirit (Rom 8:26) and Jesus sits at the right hand of God to intercede (Rom 8:34).
To me that is what v1-21 does.
v22 is still relevant today and for me personally it reminds me to remember God's people in my prayers.
"Redeem Israel, O God, Out of all his troubles." In Jesus name I pray-amen.

Day 24 of 150
Ps 24
1The earth is the LORD'S, and all it contains,
The world, and those who dwell in it.
2For He has founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the rivers.
3Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD?
And who may stand in His holy place?
4He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood
And has not sworn deceitfully.
5He shall receive a blessing from the LORD
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6This is the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your face--even Jacob. Selah.
7Lift up your heads, O gates,
And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
That the King of glory may come in!
8Who is the King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
The LORD mighty in battle.
9Lift up your heads, O gates,
And lift them up, O ancient doors,
That the King of glory may come in!
10Who is this King of glory?
The LORD of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah.
Satan may have dominion of some of this world But v1-2 tells you who has ultimate control...the Lord. He doesn't just rule over some of it He owns all of it; it is His and all that dwells there in He created so it all belongs to Him alone.
3-5 Asks who is worthy and describes who would be worthy and why so that they can appear in God's holy presence.
6 Father, King, I am of this generation and I earnestly am seeking Your face.
7-10 Is pleading with the lost to open the gates and doors of your heart so that the King of glory Jesus Christ may come in.

Day 23 of 150
Ps 23v1 He is my Lead and I'm not in real want (all basic needs are met)
1The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
2He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
3He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness
For His name's sake.
4Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
6Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
v2 Being sick has done me good because of all the rest I've gotten...that I've so needed but being sick isn't me being lazy its obvious I need rest. Thak You, Lord!
v3 He truly does restore my soul and this path I'm on walking through the psalms is the path of righteousness for His namesake...Are we not called Christians?
4 I'm sick need I say more about vallies of death? But I do fear nothing but You, God and Your comfort is more than enough (thanks to all He has used to encourage me: Kelli, LP along with other family and friends)
5 LoL in a way this happened lastnight...sort of...Enemy, as in non-believer, mind you, offered to fix me soup on account I'm sick. He was a guest of my newly committed to faith (not crazy committed) sister-in-law. He and I had an insteresting God-filled conversation which I felt God's anointing (being sick it had to be Him!) But my cup truly runs over.
6 "Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. " In the name of my Lord Jesus-amen.

Day 22 of 150
Ps 22
1My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?
Far from my deliverance are the words of my groaning.
2O my God, I cry by day, but You do not answer;
And by night, but I have no rest.
3Yet You are holy,
O You who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel.
4In You our fathers trusted;
They trusted and You delivered them.
5To You they cried out and were delivered;
In You they trusted and were not disappointed.
6But I am a worm and not a man,
A reproach of men and despised by the people.
7All who see me sneer at me;
They separate with the lip, they wag the head, saying,
8"Commit yourself to the LORD; let Him deliver him;
Let Him rescue him, because He delights in him."
9Yet You are He who brought me forth from the womb;
You made me trust when upon my mother's breasts.
10Upon You I was cast from birth;
You have been my God from my mother's womb.
11Be not far from me, for trouble is near;
For there is none to help.
12Many bulls have surrounded me;
Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me.
13They open wide their mouth at me,
As a ravening and a roaring lion.
14I am poured out like water,
And all my bones are out of joint;
My heart is like wax;
It is melted within me.
15My strength is dried up like a potsherd,
And my tongue cleaves to my jaws;
And You lay me in the dust of death.
16For dogs have surrounded me;
A band of evildoers has encompassed me;
They pierced my hands and my feet.
17I can count all my bones.
They look, they stare at me;
18They divide my garments among them,
And for my clothing they cast lots.
19But You, O LORD, be not far off;
O You my help, hasten to my assistance.
20Deliver my soul from the sword,
My only life from the power of the dog.
21Save me from the lion's mouth;
From the horns of the wild oxen You answer me.
22I will tell of Your name to my brethren;
In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.
23You who fear the LORD, praise Him;
All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him,
And stand in awe of Him, all you descendants of Israel.
24For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted;
Nor has He hidden His face from him;
But when he cried to Him for help, He heard.
25From You comes my praise in the great assembly;
I shall pay my vows before those who fear Him.
26The afflicted will eat and be satisfied;
Those who seek Him will praise the LORD
Let your heart live forever!
27All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD,
And all the families of the nations will worship before You.
28For the kingdom is the LORD'S
And He rules over the nations.
29All the prosperous of the earth will eat and worship,
All those who go down to the dust will bow before Him,
Even he who cannot keep his soul alive.
30Posterity will serve Him;
It will be told of the Lord to the coming generation.
31They will come and will declare His righteousness
To a people who will be born, that He has performed it.
This is the testimony of Jesus Christ just in reverse.
It starts at His ending...It starts with one of the last things He would say...
“My God My God why have You forsaken Me?”
Haven't we all felt that way? I have this week...the apartment I was so excited about getting... I haven't slept a single night in, the money I had saved in order to get the utilities turned on... was stolen , and the past two days I've been sick with fever...Oh and for about four days I've ran around with only one contact...so now I'm not half blind I'm mostly blind....*deep breath*
“Yet” v3 “You are holy” 2-5 it is always best during your rant to God, which He is so big enough to take, to note God's position in reference to our own...next verse
and like, 6, I feel like a worm. I also, 7-8, can see others mocking me and my commitment to the Lord.
Yes I too understand, 9-10. My cousin, Micki, said it best when she expressed something to the effect of, “I can't remember a time, when we were little, of not knowing, trusting, believing that there was a God in heaven and Jesus Christ is He,” (You see we were discussing faithful people who can give an exact date some even a time to their rebirth. I'm not sure about Micki but I was about 8. I didn't know I was suppose to remember that exact day...I was too young to...the only important part to me then was just accepting personally that God was/is my God. I'm pretty sure Micki was about the same age.) We grew up in a Christian Family and it was never a stretch to believe...the hard part, for me at least, has been the surrender. (I have to admit He is still working on me with this even today. Your will Lord not mine, just please let me know Your will so that I may follow and not be found against You.)
In the light of Jesus last days.... v11 I would think is Gethsemane
Again those next verses exemplify that not only Jesus but God Himself gets it better than we do...That life on earth is hard and far fetched from perfect.
and 14 when His sweat and tears were blood. See He had already freely poured out His percious blood for us before even being arrested. It was actually on His knees here praying so earnestly to His Father in Heaven, “Here here is my blood if that's all it takes ...Please Lord is there another way..so they won't have to sin these sins?” (He was so willing to suffer, but I think it was the sinning of those He loved so much that broke His heart. Having children of my own I know this feeling. I would rather live the rest of my days without them then see one day of them sinning against God. Maybe I'm wrong for that but that's how I feel.)
15 the cold earthen tomb. The late Adrian Rodgers pointed out once, “Don't you think if there had been another way God would have spared His only begotten Son?”
Jesus isn't just a way...No He's THE ONLY way...this is truth and He is alive!
Ok maybe not perfect reverse oder...v16-18... but definitely a montage of flashes like David having a prophetic dream sequence that ain't in order.
16-18 is exactly how it happened 16 pierced hands and feet 17 not a single bone in His body broken 18 cast lots for clothes 19 (I pray this to be true and if He says it in His word I know it is) He hastened, shortened His suffering 20 He was dead before the crude metal touched His flesh on His side.
21 “Save me from the lion's mouth..." David remembering...No Daniel came after David...hmmm I wonder if Daniel saw this during that time?
22-31 testify to the goodness and glory of God ...as I do with all my heart in Jesus name amen.

Day 21 of 150
Ps 21
1O LORD, in Your strength the king will be glad,
And in Your salvation how greatly he will rejoice!
2You have given him his heart's desire,
And You have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.
3For You meet him with the blessings of good things;
You set a crown of fine gold on his head.
4He asked life of You,
You gave it to him,
Length of days forever and ever.
5His glory is great through Your salvation,
Splendor and majesty You place upon him.
6For You make him most blessed forever;
You make him joyful with gladness in Your presence.
7For the king trusts in the LORD,
And through the lovingkindness of the Most High he will not be shaken.
8Your hand will find out all your enemies;
Your right hand will find out those who hate you.
9You will make them as a fiery oven in the time of your anger;
The LORD will swallow them up in His wrath,
And fire will devour them.
10Their offspring You will destroy from the earth,
And their descendants from among the sons of men.
11Though they intended evil against You
And devised a plot,
They will not succeed.
12For You will make them turn their back;
You will aim with Your bowstrings at their faces.
13Be exalted, O LORD, in Your strength;
We will sing and praise Your power.
v1-6 Who is this; a man of God? What a rare find these days...well I take that back...there are plenty in my church famil. Unfortunatly, fo me, they are all married.
7-8 I can see God speaking directly to me.
9-12 I feel torn between cheering on justice being served by God and praying ...no begging Him for mercy.
13 But nonetheless, I will join the psalmist in saying "Be exalted, O LORD, in Your strength; We will sing and praise Your power. " In Jesus name amen.

WHO Dat baby who dat!!!!
Day 20 of 150
Ps 20
1May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble!
May the name of the God of Jacob set you securely on high!
2May He send you help from the sanctuary
And support you from Zion!
3May He remember all your meal offerings
And find your burnt offering acceptable! Selah.
4May He grant you your heart's desire
And fulfill all your counsel!
5We will sing for joy over your victory,
And in the name of our God we will set up our banners
May the LORD fulfill all your petitions.
6Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed;
He will answer him from His holy heaven
With the saving strength of His right hand.
7Some boast in chariots and some in horses,
But we will boast in the name of the LORD, our God.
8They have bowed down and fallen,
But we have risen and stood upright.
9Save, O LORD;
May the King answer us in the day we call.
This psalm is one that can be used to encourage a fellow believer and I so do pray it over each of you in Jesus name,
But I also see it like a duet...like my guardian angle or Jesus Himself is saying verses 1-5 to me. And my response is and would be 6-9.
As for v5, our church has been super busy last month which was a 5 Sunday month. We were unable to celebrate the 5th Sunday our traditional way so we are doing so today. We call it "5th Sunday Sing" were "We will sing for joy over Your victory" [emphasis mine] Oh our God, in Jesus name-amen.

Day 19 of 150
Ps 19
1The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.
2Day to day pours forth speech,
And night to night reveals knowledge.
3There is no speech, nor are there words;
Their voice is not heard.
4Their line has gone out through all the earth,
And their utterances to the end of the world
In them He has placed a tent for the sun,
5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber;
It rejoices as a strong man to run his course.
6Its rising is from one end of the heavens,
And its circuit to the other end of them;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat.
7The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether.
10They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.
11Moreover, by them Your servant is warned;
In keeping them there is great reward.
12Who can discern his errors? Acquit me of hidden faults.
13Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins;
Let them not rule over me;
Then I will be blameless,
And I shall be acquitted of great transgression.
14Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer.
v1-4 The very fibers of creation, nature, testifies to the Almighty Glory of the Great I AM!
v4-5 the Gospel of the S-O-N has to go through out all the earth before He is able to web His Bride the church
v5-6 the course is been prophesied like the lanes of a dash being drawn we as the body of Christ are the ones who are to succumb to all of the training and actually run the race to its finish luckily we get Christ strength and endurance when ours isn't enough.
v7-10 Need a restored soul? The law is perfect! Your simple and want wisdom? The testimony of the Lord! Eyes need enlightening? The commandment! Want to endure forever? Fear God! *in my best used car salesman's voice* But seriously, if you pursue the law, testimony, commandment and judgments of God while fearing Him altogether you will obtain righteousness which is more desirable than the finest of fine riches, sweeter then the best honey even that directly from the comb.
v11-13 but more over they help us to keep ourselves from sin
v14 "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer." I earnestly pray in Jesus name-amen
Day 18 of 150
Ps 18
1"I love You, O LORD, my strength."
2The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
3I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised,
And I am saved from my enemies.
4The cords of death encompassed me,
And the torrents of ungodliness terrified me.
5The cords of Sheol surrounded me;
The snares of death confronted me.
6In my distress I called upon the LORD,
And cried to my God for help;
He heard my voice out of His temple,
And my cry for help before Him came into His ears.
7Then the earth shook and quaked;
And the foundations of the mountains were trembling
And were shaken, because He was angry.
8Smoke went up out of His nostrils,
And fire from His mouth devoured;
Coals were kindled by it.
9He bowed the heavens also, and came down
With thick darkness under His feet.
10He rode upon a cherub and flew;
And He sped upon the wings of the wind.
11He made darkness His hiding place, His canopy around Him,
Darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
12From the brightness before Him passed His thick clouds,
Hailstones and coals of fire.
13The LORD also thundered in the heavens,
And the Most High uttered His voice,
Hailstones and coals of fire.
14He sent out His arrows, and scattered them,
And lightning flashes in abundance, and routed them.
15Then the channels of water appeared,
And the foundations of the world were laid bare
At Your rebuke, O LORD,
At the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.
16He sent from on high, He took me;
He drew me out of many waters.
17He delivered me from my strong enemy,
And from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me.
18They confronted me in the day of my calamity,
But the LORD was my stay.
19He brought me forth also into a broad place;
He rescued me, because He delighted in me.
20The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness;
According to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me.
21For I have kept the ways of the LORD,
And have not wickedly departed from my God.
22For all His ordinances were before me,
And I did not put away His statutes from me.
23I was also blameless with Him,
And I kept myself from my iniquity.
24Therefore the LORD has recompensed me according to my righteousness,
According to the cleanness of my hands in His eyes.
25With the kind You show Yourself kind;
With the blameless You show Yourself blameless;
26With the pure You show Yourself pure,
And with the crooked You show Yourself astute.
27For You save an afflicted people,
But haughty eyes You abase.
28For You light my lamp;
The LORD my God illumines my darkness.
29For by You I can run upon a troop;
And by my God I can leap over a wall.
30As for God, His way is blameless;
The word of the LORD is tried;
He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.
31For who is God, but the LORD?
And who is a rock, except our God,
32The God who girds me with strength
And makes my way blameless?
33He makes my feet like hinds' feet,
And sets me upon my high places.
34He trains my hands for battle,
So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
35You have also given me the shield of Your salvation,
And Your right hand upholds me;
And Your gentleness makes me great.
36You enlarge my steps under me,
And my feet have not slipped.
37I pursued my enemies and overtook them,
And I did not turn back until they were consumed.
38I shattered them, so that they were not able to rise;
They fell under my feet.
39For You have girded me with strength for battle;
You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
40You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me,
And I destroyed those who hated me.
41They cried for help, but there was none to save,
Even to the LORD, but He did not answer them.
42Then I beat them fine as the dust before the wind;
I emptied them out as the mire of the streets.
43You have delivered me from the contentions of the people;
You have placed me as head of the nations;
A people whom I have not known serve me.
44As soon as they hear, they obey me;
Foreigners submit to me.
45Foreigners fade away,
And come trembling out of their fortresses.
46The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock;
And exalted be the God of my salvation,
47The God who executes vengeance for me,
And subdues peoples under me.
48He delivers me from my enemies;
Surely You lift me above those who rise up against me;
You rescue me from the violent man.
49Therefore I will give thanks to You among the nations, O LORD,
And I will sing praises to Your name.
50He gives great deliverance to His king,
And shows lovingkindness to His anointed,
To David and his descendants forever.
v1-3 I so pray in Jesus name
v4-5 I feel this way sometimes. Even here lately with all the personal issues I'm facing right now
v6 He comforts me through His word
v7-15 Could you imagine? I think I'd flip...
v16-36 He reasures me in Him.
notice in 25-27 God shows His goodness to the good but to those who aren't good He is unchanging. We do NOT effect Him like we effect each other....He is always God! He profits those who do right but is not a benefit at all to those who don't
v 37-42 I can't see myself personally dogging someone like this. I feel I would end up pleading with God for His mercy, but if God called me ro...then I would...I would have to...like I said yesterday, I've 'purposed' to follow His will to the end.
v 43-45 go with Is 55:3-5 my 20th verses from last yest
v46
actually 3 and 46
v47-50 He ends on an encouraging note one I pray in Jesus name -amen.

Day 17 of 150
Ps 17
1Hear a just cause, O LORD, give heed to my cry;
Give ear to my prayer, which is not from deceitful lips.
2Let my judgment come forth from Your presence;
Let Your eyes look with equity.
3You have tried my heart;
You have visited me by night;
You have tested me and You find nothing;
I have purposed that my mouth will not transgress.
4As for the deeds of men, by the word of Your lips
I have kept from the paths of the violent.
5My steps have held fast to Your paths
My feet have not slipped.
6I have called upon You, for You will answer me, O God;
Incline Your ear to me, hear my speech.
7Wondrously show Your lovingkindness,
O Savior of those who take refuge at Your right hand
From those who rise up against them.
8Keep me as the apple of the eye;
Hide me in the shadow of Your wings
9From the wicked who despoil me,
My deadly enemies who surround me.
10They have closed their unfeeling heart,
With their mouth they speak proudly.
11They have now surrounded us in our steps;
They set their eyes to cast us down to the ground.
12He is like a lion that is eager to tear,
And as a young lion lurking in hiding places.
13Arise, O LORD, confront him, bring him low;
Deliver my soul from the wicked with Your sword,
14From men with Your hand, O LORD,
From men of the world, whose portion is in this life,
And whose belly You fill with Your treasure;
They are satisfied with children,
And leave their abundance to their babes.
15As for me, I shall behold Your face in righteousness;
I will be satisfied with Your likeness when I awake.
v1) Hear a just cause, Lord, heed my cry, my prayer...There is a tender place in my heart which was ignited last night. A place that has always been within my being. The struggle between Man vs Woman. The hardest pill I ever had to swallow before being baptized was that no (God ordained, not man 'NO') woman is to lead a church much less teach a man. I shared before how I was very much an “I can do anything you can do” type a girl and just yesterday how I wanted to even play football at one time in my life. I was created as a strong woman (Wo-Man hear me roar) one who has been made stronger through Jesus Christ Who strengthens me. I can do all things through HIM!
V2) Let me come before You in judgment or let those who judge me come from You, since it is usually Godly men who equally have an issue with this.
Equity?
| 1. | the quality of being fair or impartial; fairness; impartiality: the equity of Solomon. |
| 2. | something that is fair and just. |
V3) You have tried my heart;
You have visited me by night;
You have tested me and You find nothing;
I have purposed that my mouth will not transgress.
I have studied Your precepts. Lord, I have had You take me by the hand and walk me through Your will on this.
V4-10) 'as for men...' (I'm going to turn this around a min, but we'll get back to the men) By the word of Your lips (4) keep me from the paths of violence hold fast my steps to Your paths so that my feet will not slip for there are no slippery slops in You (5). I call upon You, hear my speech (6). Wondrously show Your lovingkindness, O my Savior. I take refuge at Your right hand (7). Keep me as the apple of Your eye; my heart desires after Your Own heart, my King. Hide me in Your shadow (8) from the wicked, my enemies (9) their unfeeling hearts and mouths that speak proudly (10) Oh Lord You have already established the firm foundation for this argument before me.
… Last night I was told that I couldn't just pick the parts of the bible I wanted to follow ...the laughable part is I'm not. But men often do...
v11-12) This is how I see most men who are in this debate...but this is not God's purpose for saying, 'No women preachers or as teachers over men' (Yes He has giving me the rare privilege of explaining it completely to me.) He says that because men are lazy and will allow a woman to lead. Case in point: Adam... turn or click here to read from God's Own word Gen 1:16-18. Man was told “Do not eat...” then woman was created... Now I'm not saying Eve didn't know the rule but she was not commanded by God Himself, “Do not eat...” and did Adam ever say, “But God said thus”? ...feel free to search for it.
Let me put my argument another way if you please... As God, if He had before Him one male and one female to choose who would do His bidding. With the man He will have to drag him along and literally make him take every step begrudgingly but this woman is completely trusting Him for every step she takes eagerly saying with all that she is, “Here I am Lord send me. I will follow You! Though none go with me, I will still follow after You to the ends of the earth...” Who would you choose?
One more thing, the reason God says, 'No” to women: I believe, its so that they have to! Period! If they are going to be lead by a Godly person then one of them is going to HAVE TO stand up and follow Christ... plan and simple. So it's not the inability, inadequacy, nor incompetency of women but that of men that causes God to limit us... But with that said. if it takes me stepping down for one of them to step up so be it I'll gladly step down and as long as they are diligently following God with all their heart, mind, soul, understanding the very fiber of there being as I have 'purposed' to do then I have no problem in the world following and even submitting to them.
As far as the young man who God used to ignite my burning passion on this topic, I pray verses 13-15 over this situation In Jesus name-amen.

Day 16 of 150
- This morning hearing songs on the radio that spoke my heart "While I'm waiting" (I feel this way...yes even still) and "Healing Hands of God" (I've had some anxieties about my health here lately on top of all else)
- Wednesdays with Beth on T.V. just caught the end but got what I needed. "I Love You, too Lord"
- Then sitting down for my quit time with Him...See I pray to God before opening my eyes in the morning and then the last thing I do before drifting off to sleep -usually. I try to make my bible study time as early in the day as possible but sometimes its what I do just before bed. I let God handle the clearing of my schedule for Him speak to me ...cause sometimes He gives me a real life example to go through before He opens His mouth to me...just to make sure I know He is real and I should really listen. So today when I opened my bible it automatically opened to Ps 119 which has 176 verses (not Daniel which I recently got finished with Beth's study, nor Job my favorite book, not even Lamentations which I poured out and over on this very blog almost a year and a half ago). I automatically thought of Beth and the Siestas.
Ok now that I have that off my chest...
Ps 16
1Preserve me, O God, for I take refuge in You.
2I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord;
I have no good besides You."
3As for the saints who are in the earth,
They are the majestic ones in whom is all my delight.
4The sorrows of those who have bartered for another god will be multiplied;
I shall not pour out their drink offerings of blood,
Nor will I take their names upon my lips.
5The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and my cup;
You support my lot.
6The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.
7I will bless the LORD who has counseled me;
Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night.
8I have set the LORD continually before me;
Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
9Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will dwell securely.
10For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol;
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.
11You will make known to me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
1-2, 5-11 (we'll come back to 3 & 4)
I'm in the process of moving (yes, again). Its just across the street from where I'm at now with my brother. I've lived in this apartment before, but there are still some wrinkles in the moving in so... I'm taking refuge in You, God (1).
I have very little I could probably bring some to tears with my story but I'll spare you because what I do have is in the Lord and its great (2)...The Lord is truly my portion and my cup & my lot are His (3).
The apartment I'm moving into is very humble (it don't even have a fridge) but that is not my inheritance...my inheritance is so beautiful, yall, because Jesus had made it just for me in heaven (6).
Lord, God, I seek You for counsel and instruction (7). I set You ever presently before me, so I'm unshakably in You (8) my heart is so glad... 'all glory to You,' I rejoice. I've never been without in You, so my flesh is secure (9). You will never abandon my soul because You didn't allow 'Your Holy One' Jesus to decay, and I'm Yours through Him(10). Please, Lord, make my path of life known... undoubtedly known to me. In You presence is fullness of joy and in Your right hand, where I know I am, are great pleasures forever (11).
Ok now just one more thing before going on to 3 & 4...
In both verses 8 & 11 it talks about someone's right hand. But in 8 its our and 11 His...'how can that be?' my finite mind ponders.
Well... if we are following Christ our right hands are on the same side, but that isn't quit right as far as this goes...
What if we are facing each other and holding hands like in a shake for a deal? YES because we are in a covenant with Him...are we not? And in this position God can easily watch our back for us all the while our eyes are only on Him.
(Yes this is a glimpse of how my thoughts often go...LoL)
On a lighter note ...
As for the saints of the earth...(3)
Can anyone say, "Whodat?" The irony of God blows my mind!!! I live about 2 hours away from Nawlens...so the Saints are big around here...the fact that this is their 1st Super Bowl opportunity just makes it a bigger deal. So between Sunday services if someone has the game Tivo'd, I'd be delighted to watch. I loved football as a child...wanted to play for the longest time, but was told 'pads aren't made for girls' Oh well, I can still enjoy watching.
Then 4...this is a topic God keeps bringing me to...
Lord is there someone in my life that You have utterly rejected? I pray it ain't so...But I do not want to go against You, Father. If You have rejected, then show me whom I am to avoid. In my Redeemer's name I pray for my security but for Your grace and mercy if at all possible to be found In Jesus name-amen.
Understand: everything above this line was pretty much written out (literally) during my bible-study/quit-time with God so that i could post it here for yall...
After that appointed time with Him, I, being at work, started lunch...I had watched the Wednesdays with Beth earlier this morning long before lunch. Yall, it comes on a couple of different channels a few different times on our dish apparently, cause I turned it on while I was making lunch and it was the same one I had caught just the end of...broke one of the biggest Southern Bell cardinal rules...I burnt the biscuits...cause I was so into Beth...It's ok I cut the tops off and we ate 'em anyway... I got to watch the whole thing yall...it was entitled wait for it..."To Know and Be Known," part 6...I told ya God puts me in those "ok strap in we're going on a field-trip" type moments at a drop of a hat...there's no planning on my part I swear *right hand raised with left over my heart...don't worry Jesus is there...my bible's in my bag*...the program's linked at the bottom of this post- check it out and pay attention to the clip at the very beginning; she's going to go over one of my verses from 2009...the very one she skipped during our Ps 119 study...when she went over all of Ps 139 except for the last two verses which where my verses for the 15th of Jan. I had been so excited when we were reading through it... then she just stopped and didn't read 'em. I was slightly disappointed then God told me, "they're special, just between Us" and I was so ok with that..I had no idea what He had for me today...what a blessing! The saddest part is Beth's oblivious... she's got no clue how God uses her. But don't stop there cause He didn't.. You know that dilemma I've been dealing with the past couple of days "utterly rejected" and the prayer above? Yeah well He answers me in this program (Rm 12:19-21).
God...Almighty...You're too much....and yet just enough. All glory and honor to You, Lord, all glory and honor to You alone. In Jesus name-amen.

Day 15 of 150
Ps 15
1O LORD, who may abide in Your tent?
Who may dwell on Your holy hill?
2He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness,
And speaks truth in his heart.
3He does not slander with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor takes up a reproach against his friend;
4In whose eyes a reprobate is despised,
But who honors those who fear the LORD;
He swears to his own hurt and does not change;
5He does not put out his money at interest,
Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent
He who does these things will never be shaken.
1) Question: Lord, who can live with You? Who can be where you are?
2-5) Answer: Anyone who...
- walks with integrity
- works righteousness

*9- God is big enough to handle our complaints...Jesus suffered 40 days before He was ever tempted & then suffered the cross (also: He never owned anything.) My point? Jesus has been there He knows and understands just read Matthew 27:46 or Mark 15:34, if you don't believe me. The key is: 'and does not change' ...especially now-a-days we want to make life "easier" ...well guess what? if your a Christian, its never going to be because we aren't suppose to get comfortable here ...the whole "this worlds not my home" thing. Plus we ought to know this is very temporary...Soon Jesus comes back and this world will then after that be no more (Revelations).
*7- looked up reprobate

6. (of God) to reject (a person), as for sin; exclude from the number of the elect or from salvation. Synonyms
Wow ok so Lord thank You for being so longsuffering with me so that I did not fall into the category of the goats as in Matthew 25:32 or like here 'a person rejected by God and beyond hope of salvation'. In Jesus sanctified name-amen.
When God rejects it will always be beyond the hope of salvation, I pray you never reach that point. If your not a sinner saved by grace...
